Yeah I love forts too. Golkonda is an architectural marvel though now in ruins. Also there are many stories tied to it, this was my second visit and though I knew most of what the guide was saying I was just as eager to hear them again. Its a nice feeling indeed.

I'd only heard about this fort before, never seen it though. I like the fort's skyline in the 3rd pic.
Whenever I visit old forts, I always wonder about the people who actually lived there centuries before.
And of the many, many people who'll visit the same place the way I did years later. And of the common bond we share - the place. Feels nice.
