Bangalore's Anthem

You've got to get yourself together
You've got stuck in a JAM you can't get out of it
Don't say that later will be better now
You're stuck in a JAM and you can't get out of it

And if the night runs over
And if the day won't last
And if your way should falter
Along the stony pass
It's just a JAM
This time will pass
Before you start protesting, translation to Kannada is in progress. Patience.

Ooh... I love this Random Bitching category and I love the song even more. Its one of my fave songs by U2.

Very innovative of you to replace the MOMENT with the ever-prevailing JAM.

I once had a taste of an after work jam in Bangalore (I was on holiday but the city wasnt) and I did not like it one bit!!!

did you see Deve Gowda's shrug today? "jams are inevitable during rallies!"

rinchen, Y'day JD(S) held a rally in the city and we saw traffic jams like never before. There wasn't an inch for vehicles to move and people were stranded for hours together. Thats what inspired this post. While that was a onetime event thanks to brainless politicians, traffic jams are nothing new to the city. Hoping somehow things get better :(

Balaji, I saw that. Loser only he is.

Ugh. There's nothing more I hate than a rally traffic jam. Feel like running people over!

Politicians who shrug like that probably never been stuck in one themselves what with their blaring siren escorts. They should be made to join the queque, they really should!
